It was just another day in Fox River...If you could consider any day 'just another day.' In fact, every day seemed to bring a new problem or challenge to be surmounted. T-Bag supposed that that's what you got for being the leader of a gang inside these walls and for being one of the most hated inmates in this hell hole. But he wouldn't change his position for all the world. He was feared in here, and with that fear came the respect that could only be garnered to people in power.
The one place, though, where none of his power seemed to matter an iota was in the cafeteria. He got served the same mush that every other inmate in Fox River got served. Shouldn't the Abruzzis and Bagwells have their own special menu and seating area? But alas, that wasn't the case. T-Bag found himself standing in line with the rest of the inmates, getting what was called breakfast around here. A heap of what had to be oatmeal (he hoped the brown mush was just oatmeal and not some surprise the staff decided to try out) was put onto his tray. He then grabbed a banana that looked semi-edible and a box of Frosted Flakes and two cartons of milk.
All of his boys were slowly trickling out of the line too, after they had received their food. T-Bag took a quick glance around and saw that there wasn't a table where they could all fit together. He gave a silent nod to them all, indicating they could sit wherever they pleased, just as he was going to sit where he pleased. He took a seat by some inmates that didn't look in the least bit threatening but there was still room for someone to come along who was threatening and possibly brimming at happiness with the chance to confront the Aryan gang leader all alone, although his boys would be over there faster than any enemy of his could blink if they sensed their leader was in any kind of danger.
Once ascertaining that no danger was nearby, T-Bag dumped the cereal into the bowl and opened up a carton of milk, pouring it on top of the corn flakes. He picked up his spoon and dipped it in, quite content right now with being left alone for once in his life.

Sling hadn't been in prison long and this was his first time in jail, he was starting to learn a few things about how Fox River worked though he had much more to learn, he knew this but the main thing he wanted to learn was about the people inside Fox River. The inmates inside these walls would be the key to his survival. He'd already met Mama and her gang, he had many thoughts about her though he knew there were a few other little gangs inside Fox River but thankfully he'd been lucky enough not to meet any of them, yet anyway.
Most mornings Sling made sure to wake up bright and early to get his usual table away from everyone, he really preferred to stay away from the other inmates if he could help it. He seemed to have eyes following him around a lot of the time which made him very uncomfortable, he knew the only way to be safer would probably be joining up with some one but that meant signing his life away to some one. He was starting to take seriously the offer Mama had handed him. Glow had joined, why would it be so bad if he did?.
Sling had gotten out of bed a tad later with normal as he didn't get proper sleep and he wanted to rest up a bit longer, his eyes had backs under them a clear sign of disturbed sleep. Sling out-stretched his arms up in the air before he placed his hands in his pockets. ''I hate it here, I need a better bed'' Sling mumbled, letting out a light yawn as he followed a few prisoners into the cafeteria. As Slings eyes scanned the crowd of inmates, he moaned lightly. ''No, my tables taken'' Sling mumbled to himself, looking for a spare table or a table with hardly any inmates on it.
Sling's eyes stopped on a table with few inmates, he huffed lightly as he headed over to the line and grabbed his morning breakfast, he was over these breakfasts already. Breakfast always tasted the same, day in and day out., he was over it but he needed to eat. After collecting his food he walked over to the table that had the infamous T-bag though Sling didn't actually know who this criminal was and it wasn't the type of person Sling would want to meet. As soon as Sling sat down, his light brown eyes stayed glued on his food as he started to eat, he didn't want to chat. He wanted to eat and leave.

T-Bag was just in the process of finishing up the rest of his cereal when he spotted a rather young inmate walking his way. Either this young man was bold beyond belief or had no idea who T-Bag was. Whether it was the former or the latter, T-Bag knew that he couldn't be the brightest bulb in the box. If he was bold and thought he could take on the murdering rapist, he was an idiot. If he didn't know who T-Bag was that meant he hadn't bothered all that much to learn about the other inmates of Fox River, and thence he was an idiot.
But idiots tended to make the best pets, didn't they? They always did what they were told, never bothering to question someone they considered had great authority. And as the man got closer and closer, T-Bag loved what he saw. This inmate most definitely would make a wonderful addition to the family, and it was better to get them initiated into it sooner rather than later. The longer someone had been at Fox River, the harder it was to get them on your side.
It was only a minute or so after spotting him that the man was finally seated across from him. But what was this? He was doing nothing but looking down at his food. Well, at least that answered T-Bag's first question. This fish had no idea who he had decided to sit across from. And that was going to make his job all the more easy. T-Bag could be charming and friendly when he wanted to be.
Putting his spoon down, T-Bag cleared his throat to get the younger man's attention. "You know, unless you consider yourself to be a Middle Eastern woman, I'm quite sure it's thought to be rude to ignore your company like that." He wanted to tack on a 'fish' at the end of that sentence but restrained himself from doing so because he knew that that was no way to win this new inmate over.

Sling’s attention turned to T-bag as he heard the other inmate speak, his gentle light brown eyes meeting T-bags eyes straight on, a light shiver ran down Sling’s back. He felt rather rude after T-bags words though he wasn’t trying to be, he just wanted to be left alone. ‘’Ya, I know it’s rude’’ Sling said quietly, glancing to the side. ‘’I don’t really like talking’’. Sling knew he was going to be stuck in a conversation now, Great, prisons the one place you can never be left alone he thought to himself as his eyes slowly shifted back to T-bag. ‘’My name’s Sling’’ he said simply, placing his spoon into his food, stirring the spoon around in his food. ‘’What do you go by?’’ he asked, putting the food to his mouth and taking a bite before putting his spoon back in his food.
Sling’s eyes stayed glued to T-bags, he was trying to figure T-bag out though he couldn’t and he’d never seen this guy around but he had the feeling that this inmate was similar to Mama and he did not like Mama. He shifted uncomfortably, glancing around the cafeteria, he was looking around to see if T-bag had a group of ‘pets’ as he liked to call them, around him. Sling guessed that T-bag must have his man around at the others tables. ‘’How long have you been here for?’’ he asked, glancing down to T-bag’s food.
If T-bag was really like Mama, he’d have a hard time getting Sling into his little group as Sling was very cautious and pretty smart at times. Actually, he couldn’t be that smart if he didn’t know who this inmate was sitting opposite him, a famous rapist it seemed. Rapist were one of the last people Sling wanted to be around, he’d lived around them his whole life and lived as a pet for them. Since T-bag was a rapist, depending on how he was with Sling, he'd probably submit to T-bag depending how he reacts to T-bags attitude further on. Though, Sling really couldn’t judge this inmate, he didn’t know what this guy was like at all, maybe he really was just being friendly?. I guess I’ll find out soon what he’s like Sling thought to himself.

Raoul wasn't a big breakfast eater, but being locked in prison where he would only be getting three meals a day it was best that he gave it a try. The giant inmate stepped through the chow line, getting a meal that looked vaguely like oatmeal or maybe grits though he wasn't entirely sure. He plucked up a carton of milk before heading out into the dining room of the cafeteria. Raoul Moreau stood out like a sore thumb as his dark earthen eyes scanned the room. He was seven feet tall and build like a tank with a large head and face that was as smooth as a baby's.
Most of the inmates made it clear that he wasn't welcome at their tables, they didn't like the look of him at all. But Raoul had no interest in them when he saw his cellie conversing with a devilishly good-looking man who had that familiar look of a predator. If he knew what he was Raoul probably would have shown T-Bag that Sling was under his protection as his cellie. Instead he made his way over to the table, settling in front of his cell mate with an unreadable expression before glancing over at the Southern inmate perhaps daring him to say something or maybe asking if it was okay he took this seat, it was difficult to tell.

[blaah sorry guys, this is a little craptastic haha but I felt bad for holding things up soooo i'm posting it anyways! ] Mama had little love for the meals that Fox River provided. Still she collected her plate of slop like the rest of the population and turned to find her crew. She knew Tina, the fish who held her interest currently, was somewhere behind her, likely still collecting her own food – if it could be called that. Mama’s dark gaze swept over the long tables, jumping from face to face as she sought out the familiar features of her working boys and girls. Instead of her crew, Mama found the massive form of one of her newest initiates who appeared to be sitting at the wrong table. Without a second thought Mama diverted away from the path that would lead to her regular table, making her way to the spot where the three men sat.
“Mornin’ gentlemen, mind if we join?” Mama was of course referring to Tina, whom she assumed would have followed her to the table.
The Southern woman set her tray down beside Raoul’s and slid easily into the free space. As she did so she gave the barest of winks and small smirks in the giant’s direction, a friendly gesture between comrades. Mama’s dark gaze flickered up to Slings and then jumped to T-Bag, the smirk on her lips growing slightly as she scanned their faces.
“Excuse me, I’m bein’ so rude. Ya’ll know me, but I’d like ya’ll to meet Tina.”

Ever keen on eating, Tina was trying to collect as much food as possible for breakfast. Sure, it didn`t look much like food, but the slop didn`t faze her one bit, not someone who wouldn`t even turn her nose up at hummus. After having vocally showed her irritation at the cons that had been ahead of her in line, claiming they were taking way too long getting their breakfast, she herself took her sweet time once it was her turn and grabbed everything she could. Aside from what she assumed was cheap oatmeal, she had snatched up a box of Rice Krispies, two slices of toast, a banana, and a carton of milk before seeing Mama already walking towards a table.
However, Tina didn`t rush off and follow her. She unpeeled her banana and took a bite of that first before casually carrying her tray in Mama`s general direction. Just like the day before, when she had arrived at the prison, Tina paid no attention whatsoever to the other inmates whether they taunted her or not as she passed by. Though, it was hard not to notice the huge giant of a man that was sitting at the very table Mama was heading towards, it slowed Tina`s steps down even more. Not out of fear, it just startled her how big he was.
Stopping alongside Mama, still munching away on her banana and giving Ra one last stare, Tina frowned when the older woman asked if they could sit with them and glanced around the room finally before asking, "what is there nowhere else?" It wasn`t that she was scared to sit with this particular group, she just figured Mama would have mates to sit with, considering how long she`d been in here. The way she greeted this lot didn`t make it sound like she hung out with them on a daily basis - if at all.
Seeing as Mama had already sat down, though, Tina gave a slight shrug of indifference and set her own tray down before sitting opposite Mama. Leaving the introductions to the older woman, she busied herself with breakfast as if this weren`t a prison but her own home. She finished her banana before saying a lazy "hiya" after her name was given, but didn`t bother to look up. She was simply too busy pouring milk in her cereal that she had already poured into her bowl and munching on some toast at the same time. At least Tina had acknowledged their existence, somewhat. Eating was far more important to her right now, she was starving. She hadn`t been able to eat much since her trial, and while she had somewhat lost her appetite over the knowledge that she`d let her dad down again, it was certainly back now.

Sling's attention quickly flicked to Raoul as he approached, a smile instantly spread across his face as he watched his cell mate walk closer, his eyes looming over Raoul's entire body, mmm, how he wanted Raoul's body to himself. Sling shook his head slightly as he heard Raoul pulling out the seat at the table, he got rid of his smile as he nodded to Raoul, ''Hey'' he said simply. He didn't want to sound excited as he didn't want to reveal his true feelings for Raoul or let people onto how he feels. Cute Sling thought to himself when he looked over to T-bag, looking protective.
Slings attention was drawn away from Raoul as he watched Mama approaching the table, this was the last person he wanted around though he wouldn't show this like he hadn't shown in there last meeting. He hadn't decided yet if he wanted to join Mama, he told her he'd need some time to think a bout it, it was his life on the line, giving up a lot of his rights and being owned by some one again, did he really want this?. Sling cringed lightly as Mama drew closer to the table, he was hoping she'd pick another table to sit at. As Mama's words escaped her mouth, Slings eye met hers for a moment before he glanced down to the table as she took a seat. ''No, go head, there's plenty of room'' Sling said though he knew if he disagreed, she'd still come and sit down. Sling shifted uncomfortably as he saw a smirk grow on her lips as she looked at everyone, he glanced to Raoul before looking down at his plate. ''Who's this with you?'' Sling asked Mama, avoiding eye contact with her.
Sling slowly glanced upto Tina, he might aswell find out who this new comer was. ''Tina'' he mumbled, slowly looking up to at her. His eyes followed her as she moved around the table and took a seat opposite Mama which was basically beside him, just a small gap between them. ''How long have you known Mama for?'' Sling asked Mama, looking at her as he rested his elbow on the table, then resting his head against the palm of his hand. His eyes slowly shifted away from Tina slightly so he was looking at the table.

Raoul didn't show it but he was glad to see his cellmate. He was one of the few people in the prison who didn't fear him or treated him like he wasn't an idiot or wanted to hurt him. Sling was his only true friend. “Hey,” He muttered back to him before using his fork to gather up some of the morning grub which he shoved into his waiting mouth. It was terrible but it was all he was going to get until lunch, so he ate it without compliant.
Hearing a familiar voice he lifted his gaze towards Mama as she made her presence known with a polite inquiry if she and her companion could sit with them. However, she didn't wait for answer before moving to take a seat. He watched the seductive woman settle next to him at the table, offering him gestures of affection on her face. Raoul felt his cheeks redden a little, still not use to pretty women showing any form of flirting with him. He suddenly realized that Sling was looking his way, he looked back but he had already changed attention. Raoul too looked towards Tina as she was introduced to the group. It was clear she was one of Mama's girl and was eager to eat her breakfast which looked a great deal better then his own.

The blush that crept beneath Raoul's fair skin was delectable, and Mama smiled inwardly with the knowledge that she could draw such a reaction from a grown man. The Southern woman's dark eyes switched to Sling in time to catch the young man's gaze drop to the table. She noticed how his gaze lifted from the table, deflty avoiding Mama's own staring, and instead landed directly on Tina. A smirk touched at the corners of the older woman's lips. Not an obviously subtle display of the nervousness Sling was feeling, and yet it still made Mama feel so powerful. She only hoped that Tina would notice it too.
As Tina tucked into her food right away, responding to the group with a short 'Hiya' in her English burr, Mama took the opportunity to answer Sling's question. "Oh Tina and me just met taday. She's new heah and I thought I'd show her 'round the place ya know?" Her accent was smooth and inpenetrable, keeping the secret of her true intent looked beneath that eloquent old Southern charm. Her gaze lingerd on Sling for a moment and the corners eyes crinkled slightly with her soft smile. She didn't think he would be so foolish to try and denounce Mama in public...but prison wasn't known for housing the most brilliant of people.
